Monster card

This is also a card I made for an upcoming workshop I will be scheduling. I made it as a halloween card but it would also be cute as a birthday card for a little boy. It is Tinkering paper and I used the collage pattern out of the Wishes book. The tinkering colors are clover meadow, sunflower, sunny yellow, and twilight.

Time of your life card

I made this card for upcoming card workshops I am going to be scheduling. I used the Passages paper and the Done Right card instructions in the Wishes book. The stamp set is It's Your Day. The inks that go with this paper are Brown Bag, Barn Red, Garden Green, and Cocoa. I distressed all of the papers and the card. On the inside of the card I stamped Happy Birthday and put the Happy upside down. So to fix it I will stamp another happy cut it out and use glue dots or 3D foam to glue it on. I will probably use a different color ink to make it look better too.

Cards

These are some of the cards I made my husband's Grandmother for her 75th Birthday. She loves to give out the cards to all her friends.

Congratulations Barbra

One of the people I admire a lot won the Biggest American Idol fan contest. Barbra congratulations. She won a Wii for her family with the American Idol game. She, more then anyone, deserved this so much. I have never seen anyone love American Idol more than her. I hope you have a great time with your Wii. Details on layouts

I am going to post several layouts and show some of the detail work done on them. I think it is important to get that detail into your layouts. Just putting a little bling, brad or background texture on the layout can really make it extra special. I am using the Topstitch paper on all these. I did a 18 page layout using a level 2 paper kit, some extra card stock and 18 pieces of 12x12 paper.

I used some pop dots to raise the party circle on this and stamped the swirls around it.

Stamping in the spaces that have nothing in them helps tell the story.

Stamped some more swirls in a void space.

I cut out some flowers out and put a brad in the middle of them. Easy and looks good.

I put in two eyelets and tide some twine between them.

Distressing along the edges of the paper makes them pop out more.

Wallet

This is a small wallet I made a while ago. I have made so many of these for gifts. Very easy and cute. I found how to do this on a Art and Soul episode. I used the Back Country paper and Camping Fever stamp set.

The band slides off and it opens so you can put pictures on the front of the flaps.

Open the flaps and decorate the pages or put pictures on them.
